Sarabande is one Chicago’s newest private event spaces to open within the last year. Located in the Roscoe Village neighborhood with free parking for your guests. This is the latest creative project and private event space to the owners the Ovation and Greenhouse Loft collection. The name’s origin is from the Sarabande dance. Invented in 16th-century Spain that was quickly banned, considered too provocative for polite company.
With over 13,000 square feet of space to work with, the interior is open, airy, and flexible, making the space easy to break up and move things around, and includes and outdoor patio. The perfect place to sip a pre-event drink and watch the sun burnout into the evening light.

**Customization Options**: Sarabande Chicago may offers flexibility in terms of layout, decor, and setup, allowing you to personalize the space to match your wedding theme and style. You can hang your own flower or decorations from the rafters, there’s a retractable track & draping curtain that allows for space to hold a ceremony that comfortably seats 150 guests to then be partitioned to allow for set-up of reception tables, where guests can make their way to the built in bar for cocktails.
**Open Catering List & BYOB**: As long as your favorite restaurant is licensed & offers catering, you can bring in catering from any vendor and serve the beverages and cocktails you prefer. Or they can offer you a preferred vendor list if you don’t know where to begin.
**Experienced Staff**: The venue has experienced staff who can help you plan and execute your wedding day, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and according to your vision.
**Convenient Location**: Sarabande Chicago may be conveniently located in the Roscoe Village neighborhood with over 400 free parking spots for your guests. As well as nearby accommodations for hotel and transportation options. We suggest Midtown Athletic Club!
**Outdoor Spaces**: Sarabande has two outdoor spaces, but only one space can be used for a reception. This space is wonderful for cocktail hour and if the weather is good, the venue garage doors can open for indoor and outdoor flow. The second space is a green area that you can use for photos.
**Capacity**: This venue is a great option for a guest count in the 150-200 range, you can go a little larger and up to 250 for seated, anything beyond that will feel tight and some guests will need to stand. When considering a venue selection, you want to make sure the venue feels comfortable and it’s either too cramped or too empty.
**Aesthetic**: This space is what we would call modern warehouse. When considering this as a venue, ask yourself if it matches the style and theme of your wedding? Think about the decor, lighting, and ambiance.
**Services and amenities**: Sarabande offers several amenities like a built in bar, tables and chairs, sound systems, Security Officers, Coat Room, 1959 Rolls Royce Chauffeur Service, candle service, A Steinway Model B Grand Piano, Lounge Furniture, Custom In-House Graphic Design, 10K Lumen HD Projectors, DJ’s from Style Matters – although you can select or bring in your own DJ or music, and A lux green room space with private bathroom to get ready and relax within, a built in private photo booth.
