Recently featured in Carats & Cake as an LA based wedding mountian wedding, we wanted to invite you into learning more about the details, colors, and personal touches that made this wedding event so special.
Colors: The inspiration behind the color is almost embarrassing in it’s simplicity, it the colors of spring. They wanted it to feel like spring with depth within the tones through mustard yellow, sky blue, terracotta, peach, and greens. The aesthetic is natural and bohemian with organic shapes. Rose gold is the pop of metallic throughout the different design elements.
Details we Love:
- The choice to have two wedding dress looks. The elegant ceremony look with a fun, cheeky reception look.
- Incorporating a Mariachi band. This was incredibly important to the bride and her family to tie some of their families cultural traditions into their celebration.
- The father daughter first look. The pictures of this moment speak for themselves. They will be looked back on for many years to come.
- Nothing beats a Malibu sunset as a backdrop!
Stationery: The invitation suites are letter pressed on handmade paper with a custom monogram crest. It was held together with a vellum wrap, silk ribbon, a sprig of dried olive leaves, and sealed with a monogramed, rose gold wax seal.
Reception Place Settings: Elegant chargers with a rose gold trim with personalized menus on handmade paper. They had rose gold flatware, a dusty blue napkin, and an eclectic mix of textured, crystal glassware.
Wedding cake: For the cake Amanda and Nick feature a smaller, 2 tier cake with a natural element included along with a little rose gold flake.
