You can never disappoint with Lake Como, and this wedding was not an exception to the rule! This couple had close ties to the area from spending a lot of time there while dating, and they wanted to share their favorite place with all of their friends and family. We hosted a three day wedding celebration with a welcome party the first night, the wedding the second night, and a farewell dinner to bring things to a close.

The welcome party was hosted at Villa Geno in the center of Como.  The historical villa is located directly on the lake, and has a beautiful garden that overlooks the iconic fountain.  The couple wanted the welcome party to feel very different from the wedding day, and they decided to embrace all shades of red in the design. The aperitivo was hosted in the garden, and then the guests transitioned in the glass structure where they could still enjoy views of the water.  The band played jazz music and set the mood for the heartfelt speeches from their closest friends and family.  They closed out the night by building the traditional millefoglie cake with the chef.

The wedding day was hosted at the iconic Villa Balbiano.  As guests entered the entrance gates they were greeted with violinists serenading the guests in gowns.  They went to the back garden for the ceremony with a breathtaking view of the lake behind them.  The opulent white floral arrangements framed them as they exchanged their vows.  The guests then went to the rose garden for the aperitivo where they indulged in live mozzarella making, picture perfect Aperol Spritz’, and an incredible spread of finger foods.

The guests then transitioned to the glass house that was filled with antique chandeliers and clouds of babies’ breath.  The reception featured mirror top tables and endless white florals on the table tops.  The incredible design came to life with the Vincenzo Dascanio team.  The place settings featured Versace china and personalized menus from Studio M Creations.  As guests entered the reception they were invited onto the dance floor with the incredible musicians from Blunotte.

As guests finished their dinner they made their way back to the gardens where they poured a champagne tower and cut their huge cake.  The guests were shocked with an incredible fireworks display to kick off the party inside the villa.  They danced the night away and the guests made their way back on private boats to the Hilton Lake Como.

This wedding was the epitome of elegance.  The guests had an unforgettable experience together to celebration with the bride and groom in one of their favorite places in the world.
