Colorful Garden Wedding at Bridgeport Art Center

Our couple Chicago asked for a Colorful Garden Wedding at Bridgeport Art Center. To create a romantic and natural space, we intentionally combined clean lines with asymmetry.

Colors: Slate Blue, Dusty Blue, Coral, Peach, Lemon Yellow, Soft White, Summer Greens

Reception & Ceremony: The ceremony space with the chuppah was a blend of a clean lined walnut wood structure with an asymmetrical blend of floral and greenery that was repurposed to create the impressive backdrop to the sweetheart table.

Farm tables were mixed with round tables to create variety in the space. The farm tables had candle focused arrangements with bud vases and floral cups. The round tables featured footed compote bowls with organic floral arrangements and petite votive candles surrounding them. We then draped from the ceilings sheer cloth and industrial round structures with crystal chandeliers.

Place Settings & Wedding Cake: Keeping with organic mood we used chargers with an earthen look, neutral napkins, wooden bread & butter plates, and a pop of blue with the menu card. The cake incorporated the floral garden arrangements in the room, and use soft colors for a watercolor effect with hints of gold leaf.

Personal Touches: The sunglasses, easy, cool, fun. The escort cards were adorable with their color coded wax seals featuring an icon of their entree selection. They were bright colors within the overall palette and a fun touch to transition guests from cocktails to dinner. We can’t miss the grooms brightly flower colored tie with matching peony boutonniere.
